Painter, printmaker Mike Tedder is a multi-media visual artist currently living and working in the United Kingdom. With a palette of diverse figurative elements, he explores emotional responses to life, colour, pattern and language.
'Images often develop out of quick sketches, inspired by many things such as a dream, a feeling, something suddenly remembered, a song, or a particular experience.
I work with a diverse range of materials, enjoying experimenting with different art media (collage, drawing, painting and printmaking). Sometimes great surprises and discoveries come from working in an alternative medium.'
L'Atelier Blanc brings elements of the artist's practice together in one location, and leads the visitor through an exhibition gallery, studio space, art shop and a creative resources area. Original artwork is available for purchase online and can be shipped worldwide. A number of works can also be bought as high quality prints on a range of papers, framed or un-framed, via the sevices of Imagekind.com. Please check the print-browser to view the range available. A range of smaller gift items, hand-made cards and t-shirts will be available shortly, direct from the studio.
If you are unable to find precisely the artwork you are looking for, you may like to consider having a piece of art designed to your individual specification. Commissions are welcomed in a wide variety of materials, from portraiture, bespoke garden installations, to mosaics.
